Color and Design II

The assignment was to do three pieces (could be different or the same) with a color pallet based off a painting or a photograph. The pictures at the bottom show how many people were involved in this assignment and how much space we took up.

The top were photographed to show off presentation, but the middle set is the digitals that I printed from.

 Assignment: 3 piece series using different color pallets 

from different art pieces or photography

Problem:  A little busy in the blue and brown one

is the same and the one in the left on the second.

 
The showing for class critique were large enough

to extend to the opposite wall.

Both of these are part of the same assignment and are mounted on black mat paper with a window.

 Assignment: Direct light (Warm light, cool shadows with exaggeration)

   Assignment: Draw 5 related items with charcoal

   Desaturated green with blue rim cup, 6 charcoal pencils,

   sharpener, and pencil shavings
   Black charcoal with slight use of white charcoal

   Assignment: Charcoal drawing showing highlights and reflective light

   Purple satain fabric

   Black charcoal with white highlights on

   Assignment: Draw two shoes with white charcoal

   Yellow back shoe and brown leather front shoe with 

   white, yellow, and dark brown flowers

   Gold high heel in the back and polished brown leather in the front
